EJE 120 travel speed

Post by danzilla »

Hi guys,

We purchased a used eje 120 pallet truck and wondering how to regulate the maximum travel speed. It's a little too "zippy" for our small warehouse, and I'd like to throttle the speed to make it a little safer for our workers. From what I've read, I'll either need a curtis handheld programmer, or a service technician with JUDIT software, but I'm not sure how to tell which I will need. Is there a way to tell based on the serial number? Or a port/plug to look for?

Thanks for the help.

Hi! And welcome to fix a forklift!!

Yes you will need the Curtis controller to adjust speed, Judit will hook up as well but you won't be able to make changes.

When the panel is removed, the connection port has two wires going to it one color is yellow and the other one is green, it is a 9 pin serial port,

Only a technician that has that Curtis handset can hook up to it, hope this helps thank you

That's really helpful, thank you so much for the fast reply! I will see if I can rent/borrow a Curtis controller.
